In line with the defined objectives for OPATEL in the field of e-learning, the OPATEL fifth training program was held by Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK). The workshop took place in Leipzig, Germany on July 1-5, 2019.

The workshop, aimed at sharing HTWK experiences on successful LMS implementation and execution, covered topics such as copyright laws, synchronous audio/video recording, visualization, virtual reality, introduction of OPAL, introduction of ONYX, e-learning platform of Saxon universities and so on.

On the third day of the workshop, member universities presented a report on the implementation process and the usage of LMS implemented in their universities following the run of OPATEL.

In addition to the workshop, site visits were made to the University Leipzig E-Assessment-Center (Albertina), and educational center at Uni-Leipzig (Augusteum).
