Patras IQ is one of the most important events in western Greece region with more than 6.000 visitors every year and focuses in the interconnection of know-how and innovation with entrepreneurship. Laboratories, research institutions, public and private bodies presented their achievement from 27 until 29 May 2018 at this event.

Main activities of this exhibition were as follow:

• Exhibits and models of innovative research products

• Applied research presentations

• Speeches of start-ups and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises

• Speeches on transferring know-how, intellectual property and finding resources to finance the conversion of innovative ideas into products

It is good to know that Patras Innovation Quest (Patras IQ) exhibition was co-organized by University of Patras, the Ministry of Education, Research & Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Economy & Development, the Chamber of Achaia, the Region of Western Greece, the Hellenic Open University and the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece.

This exhibition holds annually and Its main objective is to create a critical competitive advantage both in the research community as well as in the productive sector, through a constant effort to solve problems and apply innovative ideas for the development of new products and services and the optimization of existing ones, which aspire to conquer a part of the national and global market.
